Small Groups

Our small groups are a time of further discussion and fellowship after our weekly message. Small groups are designed to provide opportunities for accountability and discipleship.

Point System:

 

Attendance: 2pts

Points for just attending our Friday services at 7:30pm!

Scripture Memory: 5pts

By demonstrating that a verse has been memorized by either writing it out or quoting the verse (without help) to a small group leader!

Service: 5pts

  • Package: sending a care package and note of encouragement with a verse of Scripture to someone

  • Community Service: assisting the church or community

  • Family Devotions: preparing a devotional and sharing it with family

  • In-Church Presentation: taking part in the church’s worship service, ministry to children, or adults in the church

  • Invitation Counseling: counseling an individual who responds to a message or Gospel presentation

  • Ministry Assistance: completing a task/project that helps the church

  • Mission Trip: being part of a mission trip

  • Notes of Encouragement: write and distributing four notes to encourage someone in their walk with the Lord

  • Nursery/Babysitting: providing help in the childcare ministry

  • Public School Bible Study: taking part in leading a public school Bible Study

  • Teach/Preach: preparing a Bible message and sharing it with a group

  • Team Gospel Presentation: being part of a group to share the Gospel outside of the church

  • Tract Distribution Team: distributing Gospel tracts at a location outside of the church

  • Visitation: visiting others for the purpose of ministering to their needs


Reading Books: 20pts

  • Christian biography or any non-fiction book with a specific Christian theme

  • Old Testament (Genesis - Nehemiah)

  • Old Testament (Job - Malachi)

  • New Testament (Matthew - Acts)

  • New Testament (Romans - Revelation)

Bringing Friends: 20pts
